Montepeloso ‘A Quo’ Costa Toscana IGT

Montepeloso A Quo IGT Costa Toscana is the estate’s fresh, early-drinking red blend, built mostly from Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller portions of Marselan and Alicante Bouschet.  It’s aged 12 months in mostly used barriques and then about 9 months in bottle, so it stays polished without getting heavy or overly oaky.  Expect a smooth, energetic Tuscan red with crisp cherry and dark berry, plus touches of blood orange, mint, and warm spice, finishing clean with enough structure to handle pizza, grilled meats, or pasta with red sauce.
