Martin Woods Call & Response is Martin Woods’ red-blend collaboration (listed as a “Red Collab” on their lineup) built to drink like a seriously good dinner wine: medium-bodied, dry, aromatic, and loaded with snap and lift rather than heaviness.  The 2023 release is labeled as a Martin Woods × Chris Bianco bottling and is a three-grape blend of 40% Cabernet Franc, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Gamay at 13.6% ABV, which usually translates into a juicy red-fruit core (cherry/cranberry), a little violet/peppery perfume, and a savory herbal edge, with bright acidity that keeps it refreshing.  It’s silky, energetic and ready to pair with pizzas, roast chicken, or charcuterie.
