Pullus Skin Contact Pinot Grigio

This Pinot Grigio comes from northeastern Slovenia and shows off a beautiful coppery, salmon-tinged color from a couple of days of skin contact. It is dry, fresh, and fruit forward, with aromas of pear, green melon and nectarine, plus a little citrus and orange peel. On the palate it is nicely textured, with good depth, bright acidity and a clean, stony minerality keeping everything lifted. It works really well chilled alongside roasted vegetables, pasta with creamy sauces, poultry, simple fish dishes or a snacky charcuterie board.
